OUR STORY

Our passion for installing Christmas lights began as a way to make extra money on the weekends, while living in Abilene, Texas. At first, we bought and installed big box retail Christmas lights on homes. We soon discovered the world of commercial grade Christmas lights and decor and made a large investment to build our inventory. Our ROI was almost immediate. Our hobby of Christmas light installation soon became a full-time profession as we had to withdraw from our places of employment to accommodate our Christmas light schedule.

We offered an all-inclusive light rental service where we leased the lights to customers instead of selling them. Our customers loved this facet of the business because they did not have to purchase, install, maintain, remove or store the lights. They simply called us and we took care of everything. 

Almost instantly, we began getting requests to decorate for company Christmas parties, install string lights over dance floors, decorate office buildings, light up college campuses, and install 30 foot commercial outdoor Christmas trees. Our light rental service quickly evolved into a full Christmas decorating service.

We operated a successful holiday decorating business for years, lighting up many homes and business in Abilene. After making the decision to relocate to Louisiana in 2022 we decided to sell the business that we had labored and built. 

We have helped to start multiple successful holiday lighting companies across Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Today, our business model is shown in parks, university campuses, offices , hotels, HOA entrances and hospitals as well as many homes.

After much deliberation, we decided to establish a new holiday lighting service in Washington Parish. Glowing Pines Holiday Lighting is so excited to light up our communities!

We lease and install Christmas lights for residential and commercial projects. We use only commercial grade LED lights, wreaths (up to 6 feet wide) and garlands.
